Very well done artwork! The colors are wonderfully vivid and your characters are sharp and easy to understand. Nice and thoughtful illustration as we could all use some extra prayers these days! Great work!

I believe our entire world needs prayer right now. I really like your concept. I have to ask myself, is the man praying for the life of the baby or is he praying for the baby to stay asleep? Maybe both. Been there and done that, only I am a woman.

A lot of this scene is really heart warming. The composition is good for the most part.
The one thing that would have added depth and perspective, if the moon's light would have cast shadow of the praying man. In my opinion would have made it a 5.

Thank you for allowing me to comment on the piece.

Have good day and weekend.
Cheers.
Lucien

yes a 5 from you Lucien..but i did this one on purpose to make these 3 things(dad, crib, window) to stand out on the POV. even though i appreciate your review i disagree with that one thing. wink. thanks for the great review.

Mark,
A very beautiful image of a Father praying for his beloved child, that he/she will grow up to his / her full potential find happiness & if it's to be bring a child of his own into this world. Created by your artist's eye for composition very skilful draftsmsnship beautiful choice blending & application of your colours with the bonus of the attached video. Good luck in the contest.

Wonderful depiction of faith bro! It is so classical in its concept and execution and in its atmosphere; The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good luck!

This picture speaks a thousand words, all you got to do is look at it and you know what the father is doing which a lot of people don't do and they wonder why they are in the shape that they are in. Prayer is a big factor in a lot of Christians life and we definitely need more of it. I really appreciate this. Keep up the great work my friend and it is good to be back again, a friend always. I always wonder why we have to be kneeling when we pray, it does not say anywhere that we have to do that, everytime people would fall on their face in the bible the angel or God himself would always say get up. If I would have to do down I would never get back up lol,, you can just talk to God like you would any one else and yes he hears you, I guess people would not know that we are praying if we just sat on a chair I guess

humans history..goes all the way back to the cavemen days..kneeling means being submissive..thats how that got adopted into religion. of course we dont have to kneel to pray but thats how it stuck. here is another example..im sure your aware that womens shirts buttons are opposite side of mens shirt..have you ever wonder why? that goes back to the 1600's where maids would dress the royals it was discovered it was easier to have those buttons on the opposite side to dress them..it stuck ever since thru the centuries..you would be how things came to be from history..wink. thanks for the great review.

This is a lovely composition of faith.
The father praying next to the sleeping baby creates an energy of hope. I like the placement of the figure. Good focus and clarity.
The details of the father and the baby in the crib are well done. The colors are of love, calmness and are complimentary.
The background add to complete the picture. Good tone. Nice art.
