From day one you have drawn me into your work by your use of light. It was you in my early days that taught me the importance of light, shadows, POV and white balance. Well, you along with Ed and Mike aka Echo and Donkeyoatey.
I like the soft beauty, elegance and magical Bokeh.

I can see why it won,it's gorgeous! Beautifully composed and enhanced to bring out the beauty of the contrasting light and shadows! The candle and the sprig of berries compliment each other with their lovely red coloration and make this a well balanced creation.

This is a lovely composition
with good focus and clarity.
The flame of the candle creates a warm glow emphasizing the distinct shadows and design of the ca holder. The red berries towards the background shows its shadows and creates another reflection upon the wall. Nice tone throughout.

This still life is outstanding. The use of light is superb. The shadows are striking. The limitation of color is attractive. The photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The addition of the twig with the red berries is appealing. The dark background emphasizes the arrangement excellently. The mixed media is expertly composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
