First, My Congratulations on your very well deserved Artist Of The Year 2020 Recognition. I highly admire your Currier & Ives type nostalgia look of Winter season scenic photography. That house with the prominent red chimney does stand out amid all that white snow and gray foliage Wintry landscape. I am certain that a lot of love, warmth, and coziness dwells within that home.

just doing the chimney in red really draws the viewers eye..very cool. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of this wintry home scene is great. the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

This one caught my eye immediately. The scene has all the elements from the framing of the house by the tree branches to the overall black, whites and grays to the well done selective red coloring.
I did not realize that cameras have a selective color feature although I should have known that digital cameras now can do just about anything.
Great choice for this scene Pat. Well done ~ Steve

This looks like a gorgeous painting! I didn't see the one that you posted in color, but I'm sure that this view most likely out does it! The contrast of the red, gray, and white is exquisite.

Yes an you can see why the selective color so works well in this one,red i feel is the ideal color to use in a selective color photo,maybe because it contrasts so well against b/w,well nice shot pat...Brian

I love the red chimney, with the black and white image. Great contrast, sharpness and composition. I haven't seen the color posting you did before, but I think I would like this better. The red chimney just grabs your eye.

When I look at this picture, I feel as if I'm actually standing there in the snow! What a wonderful job framing the house within the trees and off to the right. Love it! The use of selective color for the red chimney was an excellent idea! Great job!
