if that is not a surprised look i dont what is! lol...the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this surprised deer is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

What a great title for a great photo. You really captured a unique moment as the deer's stopped and turned to see what is behind her.
Those alert ears and eyes say she is on high alert.
The photo is great as it is in sharp focus with natural coloring. Placement in the frame is just right.
A great and I am sure thrilling experience seeing and photographing this beautiful animal. Well done ~ Steve

Focus is a little soft seems to be more on hind of doe than the eyes. Nice pose you have captured as the doe turns her head looking back - central composition is okay and the colors appear realistic.
