i cant get over these parrots hang around the trees like sparrows. i reckon is the only time i have seen them is in a cage. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

For some reason the focus is a little soft on this one Fred - I agree that some "pests" are more acceptable than others. The composition is good and colors appear very natural.

A nice looking bird that we don't see much in the wild. I understand there is a flock of them in SanFrancisco but I have never seen them. A good shot even with his tail clipped off.

Certainly very colorful green feathers; a nice capture but I feel the focus is less crisp than it could be. I am sure they are harder to see when the trees have full foliage.

I think it would be awesome to have parakeets flying free and visiting my yard. This one is so pretty in the green with that red beak. Well placed within the frame , well focused this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural, well presented!

Great photograph. It could be used as a reference image. It is intriguing to see how a surplus of a creature turns them into pests. Like in Australia, kangaroos are the equivalent to prairie dogs in Texas, pests. Thank you so much for sharing.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of this Rose-Ringed Parakeet not so much a pest but like the Grey Squirrel a non Native Invasive Species. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very beautiful pest posted here! Your fine and traditional composition offers us an enjoyable view of your budgie and its location. Like its long tail and green feather detail. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely done!
