I love this. My dogs do this every morning to see who's on the other side of the fence and it makes me giggle.

I love all the individual leaves drawn here and how some of them overlap over the pups face. The shading around the perimeter is great. And the eyes are such a great color that pull your eye straight to them.

Overall, I believe this to be a wonderful piece! Thank you.

There is no doubt about that. I really like the way you made sure that message came across. You have given great detail to each and every leaf. There were not an after thought. They make the drawing. I usually get along with dogs pretty well. Maybe a can win him over.

A very simple, but effective design. Yes he is in fact looking right at you. I really like all the leaves and the detail there, creating a very nice texture effect that sets up the smooth look of the cat. Good contrast visually.

LOL nice contest entry, whimsical and fun. The foliage must have taken forever. I envy your detail and your patience. Often I find myself getting lazy as I start to become bored with the art work and just want to get it done. Then there are the times I cant sleep so I paint until I am delirious.
Anyway I am working on many of my faults.

50 years of practice. All the detail stuff y'all see I do is quicker than you think...over the decades I taught myself some few quick technics to do things like leaves..yeah I think I got it right...lol..thanks for the great review
