nice capture. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of these birds in the water is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

We have the Trumpeter swans here and I always wondered why they were called trumpeter swans , then I heard their call! They are so beautiful and I like their position here on the water in the mist, they are sharing the space with Canada geese and it looks like a few mallards too! Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is good, I see good detail n their white feathers. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Thanks Pat, they are fun to hear. In places we have an open spots on the Mississippi River in spring. Some of the swans stop there on their migration route. It is really amazing to hear 4 or 5 hundred of them calling at the same time. Not exactly like an orchestra though! Thanks again.
