It is amazing how these birds can twist their necks, and I think this makes for an interesting pose. The light is falling on the bird in such a lovely way, and the bird is also standing out well from the background.

The photo is very sharp, and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. The exposure is perfect.

The cropping is working well and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a truly sweet and well taken photo Eileen, and with an excellent DOF.
