I think all pansies have a human face, and I always find this very intriguing when I am looking at them. You have pictured this beauty so well, and I think the light is falling on it in such a lovely way.
The pansy is standing out sharp and well defined against a perfect background, and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen. The exposure is spot on.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and the placement of the pansy off to the left. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

This is an intriguing close up.
Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The pansy seems to have indeed a face. I like its yellow nose. The flower is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Quite a puzzling nature shot posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us a reasonable view of your pretty looking bloom. Exposure is OK, but I believe the image is not sharp enough. Otherwise, nice try!

Beautiful pansy with great shades of purple. Great shot of deatils on pansy and close up shot makes a great composition. The background being dark makes the flower stands out more.

Pandies are intreguing you are right there is a face. I like their colours and this one in purple hues is very pretty and shows captured markings very well.
The background is a good foil and helps to bring the bloom forward. Clear focus, balanced and good framing.
