Deer skull on fence post

I really like the way you have placed the skull on the fence post, and even more the way the barbed wire is arranged around it. Also a good idea to keep it like this over night for the snow to fall on it, because then it looks like it has been there forever. The all neutral background is perfect, and both the skull and the wire are standing out from it in an excellent way.

The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen both in the skull and the wire. The exposure is perfect, and I also think the brightness just behind the skull is very effective.

The format and framing is very good, and the centered position of the skull is working well. Indeed an intriguing, lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF.

Your composition is impressive. The snow and the barbwire give the scull a surreal look. Your photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The removal of the original background is seamless. The light behind emphasizes the skull profoundly. The tall format is perfect. The scull is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Great name and so suitable for this presentation. The snow and the white background helps to make the details on the skull and the bird fence even more stand out.

Looks like and sounds like you went to quite some trouble to create this image?! Your fine, full and central composition shows us that the skull is not going to move any time soon! Exposure sharpness are good. Nicely done!!

It's a Super Cool picture in my opinion,LeeAnn!
The strands of old barbed wire festooning the skull give it an interesting 'Hex Sign' sort of a look!
'Good Show',my friend!

This is awesome Lee Ann, the skull with the fresh snow between its antlers and in its eye sockets and nasal cavity, as well as snow on the old wooden fence post, the barbed wire adds another element of interest and brings another texture. This is well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear true and natural. Your mixed media was very effective, by looking at this I would think this is presented as photographed! Well composed and presented!

This is serendipitous. I like the way the snow has fallen on the bones, especially in the eye sockets and mouth. He even has some gray hair on his head now. I am not a big fan of barbed wire, but it works out pretty well here.
