Lee Ann,
A beautiful picture of this handsome young Stag Bucky, lying in the grass surrounded by a blanket of snow his head turned watching you. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Beautiful, focally rich, shot of this buck half asleep. Great lighting and tonal strengths/balance. Fascinating seeing the new horn growth sprouting up. He must have greatly appreciated the warmth of the alfalfa.

Like this sleepy eyed looking young deer.
Seems so comfortable and not disturbed by having a photo taken.
The focus and clarity are good. And, this close up shot makes exciting to view the details of the face.
The snow in the background and on the deer's body add to the snowy shot.
Fun photo.

Love your deer images they look such peaceful animals and he looks totally relaxed sitting on the alfalfa which is offering a small break from the snow. Great composition and focus is good.

I wonder what interrupted his snooze. He seems to look with great interest at something behind him. I like his pose and expression. He seems comfortable at the alfalfa. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The mixed media treatment is adequate. I enjoy the realism of light and color and the refinement of detail. The buck is excellent placed within thee frame. The composition is balanced.

I have always wondered what alfalfa is, but in this photo it just looks like some sort of hay. Seems like the buck likes to rest on it, and I like the way he is lifting his head to have a look at the person interrupting his snooze. The snow of course offers a perfect background for the buck to stand out in an excellent way.

The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the animal. The exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is very good and the buck has got such a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF.

Awe he's looking to see what's going on and what woke him up! He is beautiful and you have photographed him well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct , his colors as well as the alfalfa and the white snow all show true and natural. Well defined detail over every part of this buck . Well composed and presented!
