I am so pleased to see white balance controlled so well. It can be done in the bright sun.

This capture is amazing. The Teasel looks as if it wears a hooded jacked. Your photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of light and color. The white balance is correct. The tall format is sufficient. The diagonal positioning of the teasel pleases the equilibrium of the viewers. The mixed media is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

I really like the simplicity of this photo, and how well the thistle is standing out from the white snow. But more than anything I like how lovely the light is falling on the snow on top of it, and the fine textures you have brought out.
The photo is pin sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the thistle. The exposure and white balance is spot on.
The format and framing is perfect, and I like the diagonal position of the plant within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF.
