I was drawn in with your wonderful explanation of these birds. Quite shocked to see they have such short beaks. I have never seen anything like these. Impressive that they can drink saltwater. Just amazing! Thank you so much for showing me something I would never have seen! Very nice detail, framing, and colors. Excellent job!

So attentive and poised these four are. Love the texture and focal precision of the grasses and tiny flowers as well as their framing and contrast to the soft feathers of your subjects. Great light and overall composition.

This is an intriguing shot. I have never seen those birds in reality. They seem big and very handsome. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
I appreciate also your interesting information about the species very much.

It is always interesting to hear about birds I have not heard about before, and I think these Cape Barren geese look lovely. You have pictured them so well, and they are standing out so well from the background of grass.

The photo is sharp and it is fine details to be seen in all the birds. The colors look nice and natural, and the exposure is very good.

The format and framing is perfect, and the geese are well placed in the picture. An interesting, lovely and well taken photo Mary, and with an excellent DOF.

Here is another type of bird that I have not seen or even heard of before seeing your photograph. I like this natural scene allowing a good sense of their surroundings , their bills are so different from the geese I have seen before.
Well composed and presented!
