Pat,
A very beautiful golden sunset. The sun glowing through the clouds colouring the sky a beautiful soft gold that is reflected on the the sea coming in at Beluga Point framed by the snow covered shore with leafless bushes poking through the snow & the tree, the snow covered hillside on the right & the golden silhouetted hills on the far shore. Beautiful atmospheric composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Our sunset is 4.49 pm.
Susan

A beautiful setting Pat which is composed nicely with good balance and use of Rule of Thirds. The colors are stunning and your focus and dof are great.

just wait a few more months and you'll have at least 18 hours of sunshine; lol;
an excellent capture with the warm sunset color despite the snow on the ground;

beautiful pink glow, denoting frosty conditions in the morning. Actually, there is a sort of a rule, and the spectre works differently in the far West and the far East! as it follows certain weather conditions. This is based on the concept that weather systems move from west to east. A pink/red sky in the evening suggests that skies are clearing so that would imply fair weather overnight and perhaps into the next day. However, this old weather lore saying is not valid for the tropics, where weather systems generaly move from east to west.

Very interesting colors for an afternoon sunset. The mountain on the right has a shade the I have never seen before. The overall yellow brown tint really makes this one eye catching.

Makes me glad that we are here in Ajijic, Mexico where we get plenty of light after 4 PM. ; )

Nice work here Pat ~ Steve
