Yes, looks way too hot and tiring! You should move over here and experience, day after day of around 0 degrees Centigrade! You would soon move back!! Seriously though I do appreciate your predicament having visited Israel, Spain, Italy and the southwest USA during their hot seasons. Like your composition giving us a good look at your sparrow and big fence location. Nicely done!

Poor little sparrow; although beautifully presented with wonderful details and soft green background. I just put water for my birds outside too, I guess they need water in winter too.

Thanks so much - we are always filling water bowls for the birds it evaporates so quickly in the heat.

Poor little sparrow, oh my goodness 108F, I don't think I have ever been in such a high temperature ! The sparrow is perfectly placed within the scene, the wooden fence and barbed wire give this the sense of a country setting. Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!

Thanks Pat - yes not happy with that temperature and we now have bushfire raging through hills cool change on way so hopefully will help get control. I am close to city which is covered in smoke but fire is 25km away.

A beautiful picture of this little lady House Sparrow her beak open in the hope of cooling down on her perch on the wooden fence post with barbed wire linking the posts. The blurred green of the grass making a beautiful back drop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Poor little sparrow, he does look rather distressed. 42c Way too hot for anyone to be out and about. Great clear shot of the sparrow on the wooden fence post. Keep cool Mary, we are experiencing hot weather but not quite that hot!
