He is a beautiful dog and indeed well behaved.
Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has excellent depth. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. Your dog is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Shiloh is a beautiful dog.
Just sitting there in her own world with no worry for the deer behind. Great expression and detail. The deer stands watching, maybe the photographer! A lovely animal in nature. Good exposure, clarity of image and placement. Like the perspective.

Such a cute capture here! Your dog looks focused on one thing and the deer looks focused on you, but neither are focused on each other.
I know my dog would chase the deer. I do have her relaxing a little with the bunnies but I think she's giving up the chase a little in her older years.

Thanks very much;seems every spring I have to re train Shiloh to leave the rabbits and wood chucks alone.

She trusts that he means her no harm. You have captured this well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. My Beagles always seemed to be shy of deer when we'd happen upon down in the woods near the old canal! ( They went nuts when we came up on a young Bull Moose down there once though! I'm glad he took off in the opposite direction! )
