This is beautiful. I can feel the cold and really like white birch trees and their textured bark. Maybe darken the background a bit more to draw the focus on the most foreground tree.

It is such a lovely scene you have pictured here, and I especially like the limited but lovely color pallet. Especially the snow is well done with the fine shadings and textures, and you have used high lights really well.
Your brush work is very good with a fine flow, and I also think you have paid good attention to details.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the two largest trees off to the left, and also fine leading lines, it is a very good flow and balance in the composition.
I think this is a truly lovely and well done water color painting Jewell, and I wish you luck with the contest.
