I was scrolling thru some pictures and found this. It is beautiful. My brother and family lived in Eagle River, so I have been there. It is a gorgeous place, and you have captured it well.
I love the frosty grasses and the reflection of the mountains. Great pic!

that hint of a glint of the sun rising reflected on the waters of the river is delightful. I suppose with so little industry and people, the skies really are blue like that!

Absolutely gorgeous landscape image, Pat. Exposure is spot on and the focus is perfect. The river is a great point for your composition. It leads your eye into the shot and has the classic "S" shape you want. Very well done.

Every time I see your photos I am in awe, wow, looks at those clouds so fluffy, and those beautiful pine trees in the distance just before those awesome mountains, that river is still open but you know it wont be for long as winter really sets in, an awesome scene

Beautiful and cold looking,the mountain peak seems to be aglow,radiating light into the sky above. The wisps of clouds look cold,also,resembling frost crystals. Beautifully captured reflection in the winding river. An excellent composition!
