I am presuming it is a sort of collage. Photos of the car and a painted background. I suppose because it is America, abandoned cars seems to be a popular subject, to draw and paint. I don't drive or have a car, but I can see why it would be an interesting topic

This is not a collage. The car and the background are both painted. My program, ArtRage, allows to paint almost like on canvas. The tools are similar to traditional tools, just that i move them with my fingers on a touch pad. It is a bit like finger painting. :o)

Viewing your very realistic-like artwork here brings back fond memories for me. My late grandfather proudly owned and drove four Volkswagen 'Beetles'- although not at the same time- in the 1960s and 1970s. I remember being a passenger in his Volkswagen cars of red, black, brown, and white colors. I so enjoyed the fun conversations that we shared during many years traveling in those 'Beetle' cars.
Thank you for creating a brilliant work of art that at first glance I thought was an actual photograph.

between ages 8 thru 11 yrs i rode to school with my older sister in one of these. you do feel every bump..lol..they werent made for luxury. the body form of this bug is excellent. the depth is excellent. the shading is excellent. the details is excellent. the blend of the colors is excellent. the creation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. creative and awesome work overall.

it's a great work and loving these old vw bugs. the picture you made is very atmospheric and has such a great and soulful vibe. that looks like a tiny face in the window. mystery and a brilliant find. the background gives it an almost supernatural appearance.

I think this image really looks great, and I especially like the background with the fine textures and the lovely color pallet. I also like the light just above the car. All this offers such a fine contrast to the old white Volkswagen.
The car is really stand out well, and it has got such a fine placement on the canvas.

I like it. My oldest sister had a powder blue VW Beetle back in the day in Arkansas. She bought it used, it was her first car. I also remember she wouldn't let me drive it.
