This is an exciting painting of the "Beetle." The details of car and age are very well done. Nice placement and technique. The background color and brush strokes add to the energy of the picture.
Good tone.
Well done.

This old abandoned beetle bug looks very real. The car spells photo but the background spells painting. No one can argue with this, and if it is a painting, A++ for the car, but the background doesn't do it justice. Anyone who can paint with this kind of realism should give is a more catchy background. Digital is a different story. Overall effective. Nice work. God bless.

Hello cleo85, this Beetle brings back memories, I used to own one. That was a long time ago. Anyway, this is a great painting. The detail is excellent. The brush strokes add an extra touch. Very realistic painting.

Wow Cleo, this is awesome , such realistic digital painting of the white VW Beetle, these were such popular cars , the owners always boasted about what great gas mileage they got, well shaped , perfect structure, excellent show of the wear over the years and some bumps , bits of surface rust, well placed within this scene with the old tire leaning against it. Well applied white paint too. This has such a lonely feel when viewing . Well presented!

A wonderful blend of arts to create this great classic! I love the details of rust, dents and old tires ~ really sets the mood. You have provided a soft and subtle background which perfectly highlights the great old classic! Nice work!

I owned one of those. The floorboards rusted away and whenever I went through a puddle the inside of the car got drenched. Eventually made a wooden floor for it.

Cool,Cleo!
That's a great looking digital rendition of this dilapidated 'People's Car',my friend! It looks like it might be an early 1960s model but it's hard to say for certain without seeing it's front bumper.
I always wanted one of these things to 'mess around' with but I could never find a reasonably priced used specimen whose frame wasn't rusted out! Damn! : )

The car was missing the front bumper when I found it.
