I really like this Brenda :)
I am very fond of black and white in Photography as well as art. I like the mood this evokes.
Superb details on the large jagged rocks with waves crashing against them.
Fantastic work ;)

Wow thank you for the top marks. This was a new avenue for me using graphite and so much enjoying it and the black and white effects. I really appreciate your comments.

Very cool drawing. Great depth and detail throughout the whole drawing. The rocks look really good! I love Andrew Tishler he is an amazing artist. I only follow a handful of artist regularly on social media and he is one of them!

Thank you for a great review, nice to meet another fan of Andrew ... I found him when he was just starting out and watch him grow, he is a natural.

Another one I follow a lot is chuck black. He is from Montana and does a lot of mountain work same style as Andrew Tishler

Brenda, this is great! A valuable entry for the black and white contest! A new technique is very impressive and fascinating, even without colors added. The composition is excellent! The tones are perfect! Full impression of the storm. I would give you six stars but don't have any left. Fantastic job!!!!

Love the wild look of the sea.
One of my favorite places to 'just be.' The sweeping waves add a lot of energy to this seascape. The rocks with the sea pounding against them is exciting. And, the background of the gray sky and flock of birds flying throughout as if telling the view a storm is approaching adds to the theme of this picture.
Well done. Good luck in the contest.

Cool,Brenda!
That's a pleasingly dramatic sketch,my friend!
The uploaded image would look much better without that distracting FAR watermark on it but,all-in-all,it's a really 'Good Show' of a picture!

Thank you Sean. The logo Fanart was a mistake.. I went back to take it off but its not worked... your review was much appreciated

Once they get you to stick that watermark on your work it's almost impossible to get it off,Brenda!
You have to go under 'edit' and upload another imprint of your drawing!

Ahh! Thats how you do it. Never thought about that. Now my next to do. Cheers.. and thanks...

What a dramatic and dynamic scene you have created here Brenda. I think this is wonderful work and a great entry for the contest.

I am encouraged by you saying you are following tutorials to improve your artistic skills. We are here in Mexico where there are lots of artists who will give lessons. Unfortunately most are shut down due to Covid. Hopefully they will open soon so I can start some lessons. I may be able to take a photo but I can't even draw a stick man. So time will tell.

Again this is a very dramatic scene and a wonderful entry for the contest. Best of fortune in the voting Brenda ~ Steve

Thank you for a good and interesting review. This covid thing may mean a long wait... look on You Tube there are some excellent tutorials. I never went to art school so missed a lot in the educational art line. At the moment also looking at Russian painters.

Hey Brenda!
What a wonderful seascape that you have drawn. The use of light and shadow is well applied here and provides some great depth. I like the reflections you have added in the wet sand. The motion of the waves have been nicely captured. Thanks for sharing!

I really appreciate your review Brady and that you noticed the reflections. Just a little touch... that bit of water is my favourite. Part of the whole scene.
