Oh this is fine indeed! I like absolutely everything about it -- it is tip-top and even the birds couldn't be better placed! I really admire the use of contrasts and the nighttime. Very good Brenda! Thanks for sharing!

Dry dramatic seascape drawing of the turbulent ocean and confused seagulls looking for shelter before the storm comes in. Great composition, details and I like the rock reflections in the water and the waves.
Maybe adding a little lighter colors on those rock could help. Overall very enjoyable art work!

Thank you for a good review, much appreciated. Yes I did have much more white on the rocks, not my best paint subject, and I thought it too much do I blacked a lot out and toned the rest down . Probably too much... I ended up happy with it but I do appreciate Your helpful suggestion.

This is very impressive, love that the rocks seem to lean in to receive the crashing waves, you added birds to improve that even though its rough and dreary there is life here, reminds me of a place where pirates would hide their loot.

Big thank you for a great review and useful comments! Rocks are a weakness with me. I was not happy initially and worked hard on them.particulatly the one on the right until I was fairly happy, now I can only see black rubbish sacks.. lol.. are well will keep on working at rocks, will be an item for my sketching practice hour each day.

I had trouble with hands. I had a homework assignment to draw my hands. I spent days on them. I kept practicing. Now I can confidently draw a decent hand without the fear of them being so difficult. I encourage you to practice rocks; you will improve and they will be fantastic!!
