A beautiful picture of the Snowball splatter on the tall tree trunk in the foreground the splatter radiating out from the spot the snow balls made contact with the tree trunk framed by other trees on either side of the tree on which the snowballs had made contact. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This is pretty cool and a clever idea for the winter scene contest.
Great textures depth and interest. Yes I can see the sun rays. Pretty cool. I like that there is no mixed media involved. Just a strong natural image.
Well presented. I love that you involved your son in creating the image.
very well accomplished on many levels.
Best of luck in the contest.

A very nice shot at just the right shutter speed to capture the splatter of the snow. I like the look of the forest in the background and might consider cropping out that bit of fence. Best wishes in the contest.

What a fun way to enjoy the fresh snow! It must have been perfect consistency to form snowballs , like the way they splattered on the tree! I can see the little rays too!
Well focused , this image is clear, exposure is correct, the snow is actually white as it should be, well composed and presented!
