I wish I had a 6 to give you on this amazing portrait. The amazing thing about your work is that it comes right from your imagination. This is your idea of death. With sad angels gathered at his feet. I would like to know what the bird represents. Wonderful soul capturing.

Thank you so very very much the bird is an omen found in most religions the bird represents once again thank you so very much I?m working on a siren painting still in design process I hope to start painting tomorrow

It is surrounded by an energy of mystery. Something for the viewer to interpret. Perhaps this Angel of death is confronting the other angels.
The surrounding glow behind the reaper leaves me to think he won the battle here. The bird is perched on the pole, scythe. And, in many spiritual traditions the bird is considered to be a spiritual messenger. I don't know your thoughts as an artist here. But, it is very expressive and well done. Good details, tone
and color. Great work.

Very well executed oil painting with such dramatic lighting , I like that black bird up on the blade, the robe of the grim reaper is amazing, the two fallen angels at his feet are well shown with such good attention to the details. Well arranged, somber scene, well presented!
