What a beautiful flower you have grown here! The colors of the rose are really eye catching with those white/ slightly pink and pink petals. I like that you have captured the center of the rose and shared it, it works really well. What a nice photo!

Hey Jack,
No I don't think you got carried away. I try to see the beauty all around me. So much can get overlooked. I agree that God create some beautiful scenes that are right in from of us.
I have often told reviewers here on FAR that the photos I take are really not my doing. HE shows me the scene and then says 'Wait and I will tell you when to push the button'. I wait, listen and when HE says 'Now' I start pushing the button on my iPhone as fast as I can (or use burst mode). My last post is a perfect example. He showed me the potential scene, said 'Wait' and then said 'Now'. Lol. Sorry I got carried away. What you said is so right.
Ok enough. Great shot of the rose. The delicate pastel colors can only come from the Creator. Good eye for seeing this and good skill in capturing it Jack ~ Steve

This is a beautiful rose. I love the softness of the petals yet a great macro image with great detail. I think all us photographers enjoy nature and how to "picture" it. Beautiful work!

Jack this is so beautiful. I would make it poster size and display proudly for all to enjoy! I know are burly truck driver has a very soft side and a huge heart. Two of my favorite qualities in a person.
I can see this image hanging in a bedroom. What a lovely image to wake up to every day.

The Rose is beautiful. The shades of pink at her petals are superb. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I love the softness of light and textures. I like that you filled the entire frame with petals. The square format is adequate. The Rose is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
