I especially like the simplicity of this photo, and how lovely it is with the light shining through the wings of the moth. The all dark background is very effective, and the moth is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the moth. The exposure is spot on.
The cropping has worked well and the moth has got a very good placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

This Luna moth is just stunning to see, she is so very well photographed with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct, I see good tonal variations in this Black and White rendering, it's a perfect placement within the frame and she comes forward from the dark background beautifully!
