Very nice entry for this contest, I think the black and white suits this subject matter and establishes a back in the day mood, the mill house and wheel are perfectly placed within this scene, I specially like the water in foreground leading to the mill house and reflecting the house and wheel , it looks like there are lily pads on the surface adding further interest to your scene.
This is of course, well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, I see good tonal variations throughout this scene.
Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

That was a difficult times for the people to flourish. The photograph is so nicely done with the mixed media which so suitable for this historic mill. Great details and overall pleasing presentation.

This is a very nice entry for the contest. The setting is fascinating, something I would love to explore. Removing the color makes it more dramatic, I think. Good luck!

A very nice black and white photograph. A good tonal range in the image. The exposure and focus are done well. Nice composition using the shoreline to lead you into the image.

A beautiful scene that is nicely composed and looks great in black and white. I like the look of the weathered wood siding and the split shingled roof. Best of luck in the contest.

Most mills I know are paper mills and man they stink..lol. the clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this mill is great.nthe capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

A very good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us a good look at those old buildings, from a bygone age and their settings. Yes, things were very different way back then. Well done and good luck!
