The Hibiscus is gorgeous. The colors of the petals are superb. Your photo has good depth, is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The mixed media treatment is sufficient. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of texture and colors. The framing is perfect. The blossom is expertly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

It is a lovely Hibiscus flower you have pictured here, and it also looks very delicate with the different shades of pink. I also like the background with the green leaves and a touch of blue, and the flower is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details both in the petals, the stamens and the pistils, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is working well, and the flower has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Steve, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
