Very nice entry for this contest, this is a lovely sunset scene you have painted, I love the vibrant orange sky surrounding the yellow that shows where the sun has set, good show of the clouds moving horizontally in the sky and nice show of the reflections on the water, the hills at the horizon separate sky from water, I like the tree covered hill on left in silhouette and it's reflection too. Well created, arranged and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Oil pastels are cool. I worked with them as a kid. If I hadn't feel in love with sharpie and Bic 50 years ago and master it. Then oil pastels would have been my choice medium. I'm better as a cartoonist than an artist anyway...wink. the depth is great. The shading is great. The details is great. The blend of the colors is great. The creation is balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and great job overall

Wonderful pastel painting that shows the sunset with vibrant orange and yellow colors on the sky and then I the water; seems like you figure out how to blend the colors very well; the details in the sky and on the mountains including the little duck is pleasing to view.
