Lucky you, Pat! Every time I visit NH or Maine I look for moose but have yet to see one. Love the expression on this moose. She looks like if she had a camera she'd be taking a picture of you! LOL This shot is so cool! it's a great shot! :o) Nancy

This is a good stop-in-action. The snowflakes seem suspended in the air. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the refinement of detail and the realism of color and light. The Moose is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Thank you so much Lauryl! We won?t have spring like weather until the end of April at least. She was watching me and twitching her ears as she heard the camera click. We got more snow during the night too!

We got 14 inches of snow the night before last, spent the entire day clearing the driveway , porch and back deck, then my husband plowed a path in back yard for my little dog, the snow overall is almost 3 feet deep!

That?s incredible! I have never been in snow 3 ft deep. I just love the image of a little dog trying to venture through.

Pat,
What an beautiful and interesting photograph of the moose looking straight at you and perhaps asking the question why it is still snowing. A whole story for bedtime story can be made with this image is so nicely presented image. The show is making the photograph so pleasing.

well this in not a animal we see in NJ. It's amazing how big an animal could just be wandering about. He looks pretty warm with his thick coat. you captures the falling snow perfectly

Pat,
That look & toothy grin says give ME a six I'm worth it! I can see why you might be fed up with snow by now, as I look out at Daffodils & budding Bluebells...though March can bring us Snow as well, just went we think Spring has Sprung! Beautiful composition, framing & soft lighting through the falling snow on that watching Eye. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A good looking image posted here! Your fine composition offers us an enjoyable portrait view of your moose and the conditions over there. To me she is asking can she come in from the cold? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

Love Moose shots/
This is a nice winter scene of the snow covered moose.
Good you were on the porch. Guess they are unpredictable. I almost hit one on a snowy night. Thought they were people crossing the road. Good I was driving slow! Nice close up of the face, especially the eye during the falling snow. Good focus, and clarity. Nice exposure, considering the snow blowing.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Brenda! I appreciate your support! Sadly , a lot of moose are killed here as they try to cross the highways.
