Now there's a little madam for you. Gentle colouring to present a little tot in a mood, as they get into. We always want them to see the adult's point of view, when they have their own. I bet she loves using it.

Beautiful painting of this little girl that is not getting what she wants. Love those pony tails and puffed cheeks , and all the details with great colors and shading.
Thank you for sharing.

A wonderful drawing of your daughter! I love the colors and details, especially her cute hairstyle and pouting downcast eyes. The blue dress is a nice offset and brings highlight to her pretty face. Nicely done!

hahaha I believe we all have experienced this expression on our children a few times. . I am sure your daughter will treasure this lovely memorable art work for years to come. You definitely have captured the look of defiance perfectly. Well done.

Thank you again for your complimentary review. I did enjoy very much doing this, I often try to get a story or humour into my offerings. I did this in graphite and it is almost identical but the expression reads differently. Its amazing how colour can change the concept.

I get that way myself-lol! My parents had Baotou of me with a similar expression,I just didn't want my picture taken that day. Looks so cute with the adorable ponytails and the wispy bangs; adorable expression of being somewhat annoyed with her pursed lips and puffed out cheeks.

The toddler looks indeed very upset. It seems that she tries to make her expression scary. I think all toddlers go through phases like this. I like especial her pouting mouth and the tear bin her left eye. I am impressed by your attention to exact detail. Perspective and proportions are correct. The colors are realistic. Although, the composition is balanced, framing seems a tad to tight to me.

Thank you again and for your many observations so appreciated. You are correct. This was tighter than I wanted although you know me I often deliberately go off the page not so wanted in this case.

A pretty good drawing posted here! Yes, you have drawn a good image of a child in a huff. Your fine image benefits from having a good composition with good detail and shading. Nicely drawn!

Oh my goodness ! This is so typical for a two year old, they have their own mind and they like to practice showing it, she is just adorable with her cute little pony tails and that pouting expression on her face! Well rendered with such good shape and structure, beautiful show of the color and tonal variations in her hair, I love her chubby little cheeks! She wears a cute little blue dress with the floral patterned collar. You did such an awesome job with this one! It's a perfect title too! Well presented! It made my day!
