I bet you were surprised to find this old shed door on your walk in England that day in 2017. I had to stop and give this a second look then kept staring. It is intriguing. Wow, it's scary to me but totally awesome at the same time. Great photograph thank you for sharing it.

Ohhh I like this, love that old style door, probably has never been opened for years, love those vines I think on the top, those huge cast iron hinges are impressive, the style is very medieval, good eye on this one

That is a door that no one can break - if there was a lock on it.
Wonderful presentation with nice details and natural colors and nicely presented. The fresh greenery on the sides of the photograph are great detail.

Interesting to see that such oldies goldies of medieval times still exist in today's ultra-modern world. Nice looking shot! The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

A beautiful picture of this ancient looking rotting shed door held together in large hinges & bolts in the frame in the stone building. with a Dog Rose gowing over head at the base on the left some Ivy Leaved Toad Flax with mauve flowers & what looks like Poppy leaves curving over the Toad Flax. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

And those were the days when Craftsmen were craftsmen, properly trained, by an older master at his craft. My ex was an apprentice for 7 years and in New Zealand they reached out for our apprenctice trained craftsmen. I have to admit, he wasn't a good father, or husband, but he was superb at his work! this is an example of when a craftsman creates a door!

exactly!! I didn't mind that, but he would not let me do anything outside of the home, even after our youngest was 8 yrs old. All I wanted to do was paint at home and sell- and possibly a bit of tuition!! unbelievably jealous though I was as loyal as anyone can be. Still wear a wedding ring and live alone, 25 yrs after he went awol.

I read that this construction was common before the arrival of air conditioners, allowing the air to circulate throughout the entire house. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
