Steve,
A beautiful stop action picture of these Mexican wave breaking on the beach as the wind catches the wave as it breaks while your fast exposure freezes the spray thrown up in air while the sun is shining down through the dark rain clouds above through which the sun's disc is glowing softly behind the mountain on the far shore. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Powerfull crashing of the wave in this,nature can be rewarding and so worth taking,i think steve the horizon is leaning a tad,and i might have been tempted to crop the horizon out of this,but minor point and just my opinion...Brian

Thanks Brian. Good catch on the horizon. It was definitely on tilt. I did consider cropping out the entire horizon. It looks good either way. I will leave it as is for this contest and hope for the best. Thanks again my friend for your constructive review ~ Steve

what a cool pic of the water! I like how you can see a touch of the sun and mountains behind the fog. The water has some cool colors, and it is a very clear shot. great job!

I'm not sure why you called it abstract looks quite realistic to me. Amazing that you could actually capture such a moment. I really like the mountain and the faded sun in the back that is some nice color. Good job
