What an interesting formation of the rocks. Ridges have formed nice textures. Mother Nature's skilful sculpture on display. Good luck!

Cool,Chuck!
That's a great lookin' photo,my friend!
It's delightfully Out of the Ordinary,it's mostly 'Well Presented' ( that distracting FAR watermark on the main upload could stand to be 'deep sixed'! ),and it makes a person wonder just how long Forever might be! : )
'Good Show',buddy!

Thanks Sean. Wish we could get rid of the FAR watermark., or have them make it smaller.

Just don't bother using it,Chuck! I did once when I was a Newbie and I'll never use it again! WE'RE creating the Art,not FanArtReview! : )

One question - is using it what gives the writers in Fan Story the ability to use a pic to illustrate their work?
reply by Sean T Phelan on 09-Apr-2021
No,if you want a work you're posting to be available to FanStory writers just click 'Yes' under the 'Share?' tab,

So, what is the reason for it??

That watermark? Free advertising for FAR I guess!

Great presentation of this rock formation that shows the layers of the deposits that were done by the mother nature at the different times; great coloring, water in the background adds different texture and to the interesting composition.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of those big rocks. Wonder how old they are and where they came from? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

I especially like the combination of the rocks and the water together in the scene. The rocks are well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural, well defined detail and a good show of the texture of the rocks, the blue water in back gives a sense of this location. Well composed and presented!

Gee I was looking Def Leppard..lol .yeah I see the lines in the rock. Cool capture. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this rock showing age lines and water in background is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall chuck.

Thanks. I liked the designs on the rock too - that's what brought me to take this picture.

This is an interesting close-up. Apparently, those rocks were millions of years ago sand. Then a natural disaster and centuries of pressure changed them into hard rock until the power of the ocean broke them apart. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of textures and detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
