Yesterday I watched a film about how Colorado was settled. Living on this tiny island, what I would do to live where you are. Fantastic. If only you didn't have such terrible politicians!! Wonderful reflections--you want the direct light to fall on your subject which is then reflected in water which is in the shade. Superb.

my cousin has just become head of security in Chicago, after being station master. He is very strict, as am I- I am fearful for him.

This is an excellent mixed media. The stop-in-action is perfect. The swatter seems motionless, debris swimming at the surface are stopped in their movement . The reflection of the dark trees and the blue sky is striking. Your photo is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The mixed media is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
