I like how you used the light on this take. It is saturated on the important bits, the couple AND the post, giving this a feeling of being there. The couple are in fine form and your capture displays their lovely markings.

Love the glow falling upon these two Arctic Terns perched here upon the pole.
Good details of the plumage and colors grey and white. And, nice angle of the head and beak facing forward. The background blur adds a good touch of color to the scene.
Good exposure.

Beautiful capture of birds sitting in a pole with a nice soft background of marsh land. The lighting is awesome and makes it a great composition. The birds are well focused and perfect framed. Great shot.

It took me a minute or two to realise that was a pair. Another postcard snap! Your really do get some fantastic snaps. Evidently,Terns usually pair for life, though the pair bond is not maintained in the non-breeding season. The Arctic Tern is common around the coasts of Britain, whereas the Common Tern is commoner inland.

This is a lovely couple. Those two remind me of elderly people who live together long time, but still love each other. Your photo is excellently focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is perfect composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
