My Path Is Colorful !

This is definitely different from what you usually produce mark, and I can't see a single flower. I especially like how the blue path is disappearing into the distance, and by making the dots smaller and smaller created an arch, it is an incredible depth in the drawing. The viewer just get drawn in.
I like the colors you have used, and that they are all set against a black background.
The format and framing is perfect, and it is indeed a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a creative, great looking and well done sharpie drawing Mark, and I wish you luck with the contest.

usually when I am in mix company and someone discovers that i can draw. well they will usually ask "what do i draw?"..my normal response is "Everything". now only a few will then go further by saying "like what as example?'..i respond again "everything"..of course then i know that i need to is to go in a lil more detail, or they would think im some kind of asshole..lol..no its that i always wanted to illustrate stories and will do many ways (on paper) on the approach of telling that story. so it can be in many forms of art..it was the flowers to have folks notice me..but if you check out all my videos on YouTube you will see that i have so many other things that i draw too..the only consistency is i work all in with Sharpie and Bic pens only..(i do have a large inventory of them too) lol..wink..thanks AV for the awesome review.

When I think of it, I can remember that you were drawing other things than flowers. You are of course more than welcome for the review Mark.

Oh I bounced thru many topics.. sports, rock, true blood, not counting things thrown at me from some writers. They would want it..pay for it. Then change their mind on publication..one of the reasons I went to doing music videos. Songwriters are easier than book writers..lol..

This reminds me somewhat of an old jukebox. Looked at it again and each time something different. Finally came to see it as a road travelling into the mind of creativity. Many bright lights going off with thought on much to do. Love the arch of multiple lights and the electric blue road.
Nice work. Good technique.

I could be corny and say play the Sonny and Cher " the beat goes on" music.. however, come to think of it if these light glow to the beat of the song it would real cool. I like your feel on this. Thanks for the great review

It looks as if 1000 little light bulbs on arches decorate the path. Indeed, this creation is colorful. I like how the blue light at the pavement leads our eyes into an infinite background. I imagine people strolling along the path, admiring the delightful decoration. Your drawing is excellent composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

oh it only took me a few hours to install every lil blub! evil grin..lol..just really started out as playing around and then i thought.."colorful art" ..i never got lucky in that one but cant hurt..gonna have my hands full for the next few months...wink.thanks cleo for the awesome review.

Sounds pretty. I'm originally from the birth place of Kermit the Frog. Yes Jim Henson went to my school from 1st grade to Graduate Leland High school. (Leland, Mississippi)..Jim' s school Buddy "Kermit Scott" was a major influence in Kermit's character..the town has a major creek that flows thru this town of 15,000 folks. Every year on Thanksgiving the city and towns businesses will put floats and assorted style Christmas lights and which their will be a contest announce. People miles away will drive to the town and drive up and down along the creek to view. Thanks so much for the great review
