I really like the close and personal approach, and also how lovely the bush with yellow flowers are framing the snoozing buck. The light is falling on the beautiful animal in such a lovely way, and the buck is also standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the animal. The exposure is perfect.
The format and tight framing is working well, and the buck is well placed in the photo. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This buck seems to enjoy himself. He seems to smile while snoozing in the sunshine. Your photo has good depth, is perfect focused and exposed, and sufficiently treated with mixed media. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The tight framing is adequate. The mixed media is perfect composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

This is a great shot. The buck must have been sleeping soundly or deep in thought since he looks so relaxed and apparently did not detect your presence.

The angle of the shot of this eyes closed buck is great. The capture of the light is great..the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.
