The dark atmosphere in this image and me thinking I was looking at a preview for a horror sketch. Love the contemplative nature caught on camera. I wonder what they might be thinking (if they think),

Great clarity and I enjoy the angle this was taken. I also like the filter placed, gives this picture an ominous feel. Alfred Hitchcock anyone?

Lovely photograph of these two turkeys sitting on the roof and showing their shapes and details so nicely, especially with the creativity of the burlesque filter you selected.
Great details, vignette and overall such pleasing presentation.

I was walking out of Publix shopping center and my daughter points out a building on the next block and says.."Dad what kind of birds are those?" I looked over and started laughing..my daughter with a confused look so I said they are vultures. Then she asked " why are you laughing at the vultures?"...I grinned and replied.."because they are sitting on the roof of a retirement home. Guess they are waiting huh?" Wink..the clarity is great. The angle of the shot of these vultures is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Cool,Michele!
Vultures are fascinating creatures and I'm really enjoying your nicely presented photograph of this pair of them! The black 'fade' around the image of them looks especially nice!
'Good Show',my friend!

An ominous looking pair indeed. These are not what we in Michigan call turkey vultures. I believe they are Black Vultures (Coragyps atratus). I like the rooftop setting and think the vignette enhances that sinister look.

They serve their purpose. I really like the way you have presented this picture. I like the use of the vignette and the muted colors. It goes along with the way these guys eat. Good capture.

Quite a good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and classical composition grants us a good look at those hungry birds. Exposure and sharpness are good. Confused by your naming. Are they turkeys or vultures? Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Thank you for your very nice review. They are actually Turkey Vultures. So named because they have no feathers on their necks, this helps them keep themselves clean delving into a carcass.

This is an intriguing image on many levels, first I am trying to comprehend having these Turkey Vultures here and looking up on my roof to see them. They are such interesting birds , they are important and actually provide a service to us as well as teaching us about the circle of life.
I like their positions up on the roof and your perspective to view them, they are well focused, the image is clear , exposure is good, I see good detail , especially in the texture of their necks. They are well placed within the frame and I think the mixed media you used is effective and suitable for this subject matter .they keep an eye out for any sign of something weak or dead .
Well composed and presented!

Thank you for your your lovely review. We see them frequently in our neighborhood as we are surrounded by preserve areas, plenty of wildlife to cleanup after their demise
