A beautiful picture of this Mute Swan swimming/gliding across your lake her shadow & reflection on the water are an added bonuses, The pale sky's reflections are dancing on the lake's rippled surface. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Lovely photograph of this white swan, so nicely capture by you, Jack. I love to take photograph of swans but usually they are so faraway.
Great details and so nicely presented a with the darker water with nice ripples. Wonderful composition and presentation!

Nice capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this swan in the water is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall Jack!

One day as the ice was melting from my lake a pair of swans came in. One was a mute swan like this one and the other was a Trumpeter. They were inseparable. Soon another mute swan came in and tried to chase the trumpeter away. He would not go. It has been almost 2 months now and the three of them are hanging out on the beach of my place right now.

It's so nice to see the mute swan on the lake, I can't wait until the swans return here.
Well captured lone swan with good focus, this image is clear, good exposure, the swan stands out beautifully from the steel grey water. Well composed and presented!

yes really loving this swan and the birds on the local canal have been a welcome relief from the recent lockdown. you have certainly captured a very good position and that arch in the neck/
