About as close as they get to my lake is Lake Eerie as far as I know. There they are quite elusive and shy away from photographers. A nice shot with sharp detail.

Good close up shot of this Coypu posing! That's quite a lake with such variety of animals. The details here are interesting, especially the way that eye is viewing the photographer!
Good focus, clarity and tone.
Nice exposure.

i can't see hi/her tail so I can't determine if it is related to t beaver or a muskrat? Well done, like the detail in the eyes and face, good framing well done

You have indeed pictured this coypu well, and I especially like that the animal was looking at you when the photo was taken. You have captured such a fine shine in the water, and the light is falling on the coypu in a lovely way.
The animal is standing out sharp and well defined against the background, and it is clear details to be seen in the fur and face. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped and the animal has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a truly sweet and well taken photo Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

They look similar to a beaver, this coypu does seem to be posing for your camera.
Well placed within the frame, you have photographed it well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
Well defined detail over every visible part, I like those whiskers and the clear eye, complete with a nice catch light. It looks like it has red teeth !
Well composed and presented!

The critter would ask me why I'm smiling at him? I would just say..oh I was imagining you in gravy! Evil grin..lol..the clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this camera ham in the water is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Fred,
A beautiful portrait of this less than beautiful Coypu (It's handsome to itself!) as it looks up into your face exposing it's long orange incisors, watchful eyes, twitching whiskers & short ears. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Great closeup of this little fellow Fred. The face is very similar to an Otter such an unusual aquatic animal. Great color and your focus is spot on - well done.
