Such sensitive and well presented photograph of a situation that is common, yet still not always addressed.
Great showing of the man and the landscape with barren tree. The road has a definite monotones pattern which could also represent the state of mind.
Great work!

A story to tell here, maybe he walks looking down so he doesnt trip, I do that sometimes when I should be looking up, I like how the trees kind of hide him here in the place where you snapped this photo, like a cloud following him, yes there must be more people out there that are lonely because of this pandemic, at least he can go for a walk, I feel sorry for the ones stuck indoors

Yeah I notice that is a trend in cities like New York, etc..folks like to walk with your head down and act like you don't see anything..not like that in the south and southwestern cities.i lived all over this country so I notice things like that. Wink. Interesting capture. The clarity is good. The capture of the light is good. The downward view of this water reflection is good. The image is balance and eye interesting to the viewer. Creative approach and good job overall.

A miserable looking image posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us a good view of that sad and lonely man trudging along out there. Wonder what causes him to do it every day? Nicely done!

A very nice shot that captures the social isolation we have all been feeling for the past year. I like the way is partially obscured by the barren bushes and the way he is placed against the water.

His posture as he walks, along with the bare branches and overall dark mood does indeed convey a feeling on loneliness. It reminds me of my Dad,after my Mom had passed; he would go out in the good weather with his walker and walk around the block. It must have been a lonely walk for him, so I can feel empathy for this gentleman.
