What a moment to witness and capture! Beautiful work Jo!
White Balance is Controlled, focus is sharp and the low flat light was handled well.
The heart shape their heads/ neck make out is the bonus.

I can imagine how excited you were to capture these beautiful swans! Your focus is very clear. I love the darkness in the background which accents their lovely white bodies. And then the rippling water in the foreground adds depth to your picture. Great job!

This is truly beautiful Jo, and I especially like how the heads ad necks of the birds are shaping a heart. I also think you have captured such a fine shine and ripples in the water, and the light is falling on the two of them in such a lovely way.
The all dark background is perfect, and the swans are standing out from it in an excellent way. The photo is very sharp showing clear and well defined details in both swans, and the white balance and exposure is perfect.
The format and framing has worked well, and the swans have got a very fine placement a bit off to the left. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

A beautiful shot that is very well exposed for the white plumage which leaves the surrounding water and background very dark. I like that contrast and the fine detail in their faces.

Hi Jo, I'm lucky enough to be in a place where I see swans, but I've never seen their courtship ritual. I'm definitely missing out!!! This is a beautiful shot! I love how their heads are against each other. You captured this shot just right. The focus and lighting show them off beautifully! Super job of capturing the moment! Beautifully captured swan couple , their heads together and a heart is formed between their graceful necks.
They are well placed within the frame, well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, I see good definition in the white plumage.
They are standing out so well from the dark tones in the water.
