Many thanks for use of this stunning piece--"they" make perky company for my story about a friend who had a breast boost! Credit in notes. Cheers. LIZ

Boy Linda, the way you work that pencil is remarkable. How in the world do you trick me every time be making me see a real photo when in fact it is one of your drawings? Job well done. I appreciate you as my friend. Thank you for sharing Marilyn Munroe.

She was one of the most admired icons of the last century, but seems almost forgotten nova days. She was a beauty, but she was also a good actress. I remember her Niagara and Some Like It Hot.
You draw a realistic likeliness of her. Your attention to realistic detail is impressive. The shading is perfect. The highlights accurate. Proportions and perspective are correct. The actress is excellently placed within the frame. The portrait is balanced.

you have a special gift and much patience for drawing. This is fantastic. You are of definite professional standard. We all loved Marylin Monroe and she is a lovely presentation for the 'a little bit of women adoration' -

Exceptional as usual. Your ability to capture realism has always impressed me. It separates true talent from the wannabes. I'm not impressed with cartoonist or abstracts. Only old time black and white photo realism gets my attention. Looks exactly like who it's supposed to. Well done!

Wow! You are very talented. I could tell without reading the name of the photo that this was Marilyn Monroe. What a sad story. Compared to today's actresses she was a big model. I guess voluptuous would be the best term I could use. Her features are drawn to perfection. Excellent work.

What an elegant picture! The pose is absolutely terrific.
Your shading is incredible and I knew exactly who this was right away so good job there.
The nose could be outlined a little better (I'm just being picky) but I understand the difficulty of working with a photo this old (I assume you drew from a reference photo.)

There is gorgeous detail in your Marilyn portrait. I love the use of lights and shadowing that make her stunning details so pronounced! Very well done with obvious skill and talent!
