Is that ice just beginning to melt or something in the river, or is the tide so low that the water is right down to the mudflats? Wonderful catch of the eagle.

A beautiful shot. The exposure is perfect and gives you good detail in the whites as well as the dark wing feathers. I like the eye and the feet and the fanned tail.
