a pleasant shot taken from your little cruise across the waters.The misty backdrop assists in the main subject to stand out in this composition.It is the sort of image that one may see in the introduction of Jurassic Park

The island looks like it has teeth, lol,, its interesting how it just sticks out like that, with that one tree on top, nicely focused, love the action of the water as your vessel sails away, the mist is nice at the far shore,

A memorable scene for sure! I like that you didn't put this unusual island smack dab in the middle of the photo. The stiff waves give the viewer an inkling of how remote you'd feel if stranded here. The foggy background is perfect to highlight the island.

This is such an interesting scene , the island is intriguing. , I like the way it is standing out from the silvery blue sky and water.
Well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
I like the placement of the island on left . Well composed and presented!

This is a great shot of a small island, and it almost looks a small cottage with a chimney. I especially like that both the sky, the background and the water have grey hues, and how well the green island is standing out from it. Actually quite striking.

The photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the vegetation and rocks of the island. The exposure is spot on.

The format and framing is perfect, and with the island off to the left, it is a very fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Nikman, and with an excellent DOF.

Wow this is so cool. It actually appears to me as an amazing little cottage in the middle of the water. Maybe a leprechaun lives there. A very magical place. Maybe he parks his boat in the back or maybe leprechauns really do know how to fly. This was so fun to view. My imagination is running wild. Thank you for the smiles and fun.

an excellent capture and framing Priit of this small island covered with a bright green vegetation and a single tree emerging from behind the top; nice contrast with the grey foggy weather;

Nik,
A beautiful misty view over Lough Leane with what looke to me to be a "Fairy Island" in the centre topped by a Fairy/Hawthorn Tree growing on top framed by the choppy grey water's of the lough reflecting the sky above. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Geology is fascinating. At one time I belonged to the Sheffield University Geology group, /climbing in Peak district and caving./ How the stone wears away. The lake's name means "lake of learning" probably in reference to the monastery on Innisfallen, an island in the lake. Innisfallen was a centre of scholarship in the early Middle Ages, producing the Annals of Innisfallen and, according to legend, educating King Brian Boru.
Did you see that man on tv yesterday, /Rick Stein's Asia/ who lives on an island of the coast of India and has the most fantastic home there, the whole island is his and only one house.

I like this very much with the island standing out against the choppy waters and the misted land forms in background. Good composition and the focus is sharp throughout.
