I honestly have to shake my head and laugh at the comments made on your high shutter speed. When handled it's okay to raise shutter speed in bright sunlight. There is wind to deal at times which the higher the shutter helps you handheld.
That said the my preferred settings for architecture are :
My preferred camera settings for architecture photography are:
Manual exposure mode
ISO: 100
f/stop : f/8 to f/14 ( F/8 is the sweetest one)
Shutter Speed: Varies depending on the light, but you could start with 1/125th of a second and go from there.
Now, your High shutter speed helped with how bright it looked to be on this particular day. I think you did a fine job but the only thing I would like to have seen is more Black/shadow detail on the stone.
Your focus is sharp and white balance is handled well here Brian.

Love the black and white presentation of the cathedral and the low cloud looming over the building adds to impact. The varying shades of grey show the texture of the building well. Notice speed was pretty fast for a non-moving object but good effort for manual setting.

This is a great shot with wonderful details and depth! I like the chromatic look and feel of it - it sets the mood for this vintage building. Great composition and nicely presented!

Spectacular photograph Brian! The angle and details on the Cathedral is simply beautiful. Dramatic sky and the black and white presentation are splendid. Great use of mixed media tools and the manual setting!
Thank you for sharing.

That's such an amazing sight to see! It's such a beautiful Architectural structure and design.
The angle of shot emphasizes its size.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is good, I see good tonal variations in the Black and white.
Well composed and presented! I wonder why the fast shutter speed for this building?
