This is one of the amazing things about the USA but also saddening. When I was there /Ark./ in the mornings, deers would be seen outside the gardens munching. Coming from UK city, I was enthralled and delighted. Then, my friends got licencing and I saw their pick ups with two deer a piece in the backs. I could have wept. They have permission to shoot them!! These beautiful creatures in that gorgeous environment. Lovely photograph of this shy creature.

I don't fight for little medals and recognition. I am on the site to meet other painters and like minded people. I know my worth without a pat on the back through odd countings of numbers.

The little fawn is adorable. The animal seems fearless and comfortable. I like its observatory expression. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The background shows the environment, but is unobtrusive. The fawn is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Good picture. Even with the branches in the foreground you were able to capture the fawn looking so vulnerable and maybe fearful.
Good luck in the competition.

So nicely presented little fawn as she is enjoying the vegetation in the park.
You probably approached her very carefully so she stayed and let you take such nice photograph.
Good luck in the contest!

Such a sweet creature. Lucky you to have found it and had your camera handy. The biggest flaw in this photo is that the branches are neither attractive nor nicely trimmed and really obstruct the fawn's face. You can't control these kinds of things, but perhaps the fawn moved to a better position. Sometimes it's impossible to get the ideal shot when you're dealing with wildlife.

A nice shot despite the way the fawn is somewhat hidden by the leaves. The eye is very well shown and the colors are great. Best of luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of this young fawn attempting to hide behind the overhanging branch while keeping a watchful eye on you. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Good luck in the contest.

a very good close up of this sweet looking fawn not afraid by your camera and presence thank to his nearby mom; of course, would be nicer without all the tiny branches;

I'm from California and I have to go to Oregon every so often for work and I love it up there...it's rare though that you get a chance to see a deer let alone capture one on camera..it's a beautiful image you have captured.looks like she's playing hide and seek with you.lol..but it's a great picture of nature at its finest
