Brenda, what a fantastic shot! Amazing. In the Ukraine the storks come back from China each year and nest all over the place, and like Portugal, they are not removed. It is considered a matter of good fortune if a stork nests on your home. They are reveered as bringers of good luck to you home. Though I spent most of my time in England, even I paint them onto pictures of back there. Fabulous photo Brenda!

A little blurry, but its better to look at it in the smaller version on the site, love the way the other stork is climbing those stairs instead of flying in, interesting how these birds take any place and their nests are huge, lol,, thanks for explaining why they are allowed to build anywhere

I knew that this nesting situation occurs over much of Europe but I don't believe I have ever seen storks nesting. A nice shot that is well cropped and shown in fine colors.

interesting capture. the angle of the shot of these birds nesting ontop of the church is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
