Newspapers cartoons are practically gone. Only us old timers bother to look for them. Kids pay attention to the internet. However that would a cool gig..wink. thanks for the great review

This is a departure from what you usually post. The guy reminds me of Elvis. I got to go to a concert before he passed away. I like the way your staff moves with the music. Good job!

not really..you mostly will notice those frisky flowers..but really ik draw everything. whatever tells a story..wink. i used to love doing rock posters..i still do one every now and then in between projects..wink. thanks Mary for the great review.

Nope..i only work with sharpie and bic pens..the only thing i do with a computer is scan it..wink..thanks for the great review.

This is a really fine entry into this contest Mark, and I especially like the simplicity nicely emphasized by the limited color pallet. I also like that you used black as a background.
The rock star is done paying very good attention to details, and I like the way the notes are framing him.
The format and framing is very good, and I think it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a great looking and well done drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.

oh ill have a chance sometime in the future when the topics are more friendly to my medium..the others that i enter is just throwing in the sharpies/bics to just to show yall a catoonist can put in his 2 cents worth..you know someone asked me if i ever created a masterpiece..i said heck no!..you know what a masterpiece is for a cartoonist? when the folks really enjoyed and want to see the next skit..thanks is a true cartoon masterpiece..wink wink.. lol.

I commented in reviewing but don't know where it disappeared. The photographs surrounding the video are so appropriate for this type of music. I wish we had many "6s" to give. Your work is that good. The profile photo is so clean in that it is well composed with the rocker in good form, proper portions, the blue staff & music notes positioned so well. My husband is an outstanding Gospel guitarist and mandolinist and our son plays several instruments and sings well, but he's more into keyboard and piano. Yet he does both well. Your use of sharpies is outstanding! And No smudges or mistakes at all.

Welcome, really...I'll go back and review. I'm learning about the stars' ratings. This and above were earlier reviews. You help me so much. I didn't know I gave you a "3" ever. My later reviews have been higher rated. Please check after I go back. I printed off the rules, including the Stars so now I have learned.
